Meet the Team

James has been crafting the beers for Fable Brewing Company since 2020 in half-barrel pilot system. He draws upon his expert palate, fine-tuned from years spent as a head chef, to perfect his brewing recipes. 

 

Prior, James spent 20 years working in every aspect of the culinary industry, including serving as general manager for Starbucks, Cosi, and Chipotle. He brings this extensive experience managing personnel and the P&L to the Fable taproom. 

 

James is a proud veteran of The United States Air Force, a semi-professional musician, and an avid gamer.

Oscar, a pharmaceutical business operations executive leading insights and analytics teams, initiated his professional career as an organic chemist in materials research and then pharmaceutical drug discovery.

 

A passionate home brewer, Oscar also attended the American Brewers Guild and completed the Intensive Craft Brewing Science and Engineering program. Oscar spent several years working in a commercial brewery on different systems and volume capacities up to a 15 barrel brewhouse, including the 5 BBL system planned for Fable Brewing Company. After returning to the pharmaceuticals industry, Oscar has continued to hone his skills as a craft brewer.

Asheen, our Chief Financial and Sustainability Officer, is a sustainability professional. In his day job, Asheen is head of ESG [Environmental, Social, and corporate Governance] & Sustainability for PagerDuty, a publicly traded tech firm (NYSE: PD).

 

Asheen holds a BS in chemical engineering from Cornell University and MBA in Technology Entrepreneurship from Babson College. He has participated in several startup companies ranging from pharmaceutical manufacturing to fashion, and is excited to be part of Fable’s story. 

 

Asheen speaks three languages, loves to cook, and enjoys honing his beer palate..
